It's been a while!

I'm not sure why I haven't made it a priority to update my blog but I'm excited to share with you so I've made a new goal of 2 posts a month. So, here's one of my session slide shows completed recently. Click the image to play the show.

Xander is three!

It was great to see this little family again and capture some fun on the farm! This flower field this time of year is a hard find, but I'm grateful the nice lady at Parlee Farm let us visit it for bit! Slide show in the works; I'll post in a few days!

And, the parents and farm worker may not have approved of hay throwing on the hay ride... but you must admit it's quite cute!

Little Pumpkin!

This adorable little guy tolerated what only a photographer would do, wrap him in burlap, and balance him (safely of course) on a couple pumpkins. Thankful for the wonderful 80 degree October day we had for this! Thanks for letting me take these shots of your beautiful boys and design your announcements Christine and Kevin!

Brandon is two!

Well, he turned two over the Summer and I'm finally posting his birthday pics take in beautiful Watch Hill, RI. Happy Birthday little man, hope to see you and your family again soon!

Baby Felicity

I had the pleasure of meeting this adorable little girl last weekend. What a beautiful family, and wonderfully calm, happy baby. My only regret from this session is not grabbing a picture of Felicity's room. By far the cutest baby room I've ever seen! Next time...

Jessica and Jim Wedding

What a wonderful treat to capture Jessica and Jim's Wedding a couple weeks ago. I was giddy for weeks leading up to the wedding; so excited to be have the honor of being part of their day. They are a loving couple with so much mutual respect and admiration of eachother. Jess was such a laidback bride. No limo-delaying watermain break or condo tenant issue was going to ruffle her feathers!  I wish them all the best in their new life!

A few pics below. Slideshow coming in a couple days.

Jessica Gladu Shower

I was able to surprise one of this year's brides by photographing her bridal shower. Click on the picture below for a show of the pictures. Looking forward to your big day!

Jackson Family

What a fantastic family these guys are! They all had a great sense of humor and had fun with the session. It was really great to meet them all and I hope they make their mother very happy, and wonderfully surprised, with the family photo! (SJ- do tell how it goes over!)

If you click the top photo you'll see a slideshow. The backdropped pictures at the end were taken to mimick (and hopefully update) high school photos their mom still has up in the hallway. (Their impromtu idea.)  Love it!

Fifteen minutes of smiles

This session spoke to how powerful relationships can be in lifting us up and erasing even the worse of moods. This little man wasn't very happy until his older, and totally idolized, cousin arrived.  I'm convinced that there is no bad mood that he can't melt away. We may have only been able to get 15 minutes of smiles, but that was enough fun to fill up my memory card. A few of my favorites:

Jessica and Jim Engagement

Jessica and Jim ventured with me out to Newbury, MA to a great conservation property that afforded us terrific views of a sunset and lots of room for their wonderful dog to roam. It was great to get to know both of them better and I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding next year!

Enjoy the show! (Click on the top pic to view.)

Brandon's First Year

I vividly recall my sister-in-law sending my then 5 year old over to me a couple years ago Thanksgiving to whisper in my ear the news that she had a baby in her belly. Little did she know that I did too, and the 5 year old was happy to reciprocate with my news. What a grand surprise. Now we have two terrific one-year-olds to enjoy. Here's to you, little man, and your parents who couldn't adore you more!
